Your time and talents have been most appreciated this year and the parish invites you to a lunch in your honour on September 23, 2007 after the 11:15 mass. Please call your ministry coordinator if you have not been invited to attend. Ministries will be on hand to welcome new volunteers on this weekend as well. All are welcome to add their talents to the mix.
Volunteers Needed:Altar servers are needed for all the weekend Masses.  Boys and girls seven years and up are welcome to join.  Servers usually serve about twice a month and training will be provided.  For more information or to volunteer contact Mary Headley mheadley@magma.ca Liturgy of the Word with children is offered at the 9:00 Mass on Sunday mornings.  School age children are welcome to come and listen to the Sunday readings and respond in song, prayer, gesture and dialogue.  Please accompany your children if they are under the age of four, or need guidance to be attentive. New volunteers are needed for this ministry.  Parents of children who attend on Sunday mornings are especially invited to join our team, however, everyone is welcome, including teens.    This ministry will help you to delve more deeply into the Sunday readings, meet other volunteers with a heart for children, and share your gifts and talents.  The time commitment in the past has been one Sunday (liturgy during Mass) every six weeks, as well as some preparation time.  For more information, please contact Donna Dunham addunham@sympatico.ca;  or call the parish office.
