Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) The weekly sessions for RCIA have begun for this season. The Christian Initiation of Adults is a very meaningful experience for all those involved. If you would like to become a member of the Catholic Church or return to the Church after having been away for a while, or are non-catholic parents who have children attending a Catholic school – come and meet with us at the RCIA. Newcomers are welcome! Drop in! We meet Tuesday evenings in the Holy Family room in the church at 7:30 pm. For more information, please call the parish office at 824-4394 or Pat LaViolette. We ask the parish community to unite in prayer with the members of the RCIA group as this faith journey continues.

We have found a solution to our ‘invisible lettering' and have advised the contractor to proceed, changing the lettering to black. If the weather cooperates, the signs should be completed before winter.

Bible Study at Good Shepherd Parish You are invited to join a journey of faith and discovery as we continue an on-going series of Bible study courses. The Gospel According to Matthew is a ten-week course that begins on November 12 and explores the text that provides the majority of gospel readings for the church’s new liturgical year. All classes are held at Good Shepherd Parish on Monday nights from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. Using materials produced for the widely acclaimed Little Rock Scripture Study series, we will "break-open" sacred texts and learn how profoundly they touch our individual and community lives. To facilitate group sharing, the number of participants will be limited to twelve. Pre-registration is necessary, and the courses are usually fully booked. The participant fee is $25.00, and includes the cost of a personal copy of the scripture commentary and a study guide. For more information regarding the courses, contact Ron McRae at 613-841-4698 or ronald.mcrae@sympatico.ca
