As part of our parish Lenten activities related to the theme “Building Reconciling Communities” on March 5 and 6 the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed for adoration in the day chapel. During adoration, two adults must always be present in the chapel. Adoration will begin at 8:00 p.m., following Evening Prayer on Wednesday March 5, and continue (except during morning mass) until 6:00 p.m. on Thur., March 6. Volunteers are requested to place their name and phone number on the sign-up sheet that is available in the gathering space.
REMINDER to children receiving Confirmation & First Eucharist this year. The next Parent & Child meeting is Tues. Feb. 19 and Thurs. Feb. 21 at 7:00 PM. Both parent and child are required to attend one of these meeting dates and bring the completed workbook "Come Join Us at the Table" along with the address of church where child was baptized and name and complete address of your child's sponsor.
Development and Peace has begun its 2008 Share Lent campaign. The children at our schools will be receiving a Lifestyle Awareness Calendar. This calendar could be the basis for a Share Lent project in which your whole family, young and old, can participate. Following the calendar’s suggestions during Lent will sensitize your family to the principle that the Earth’s resources must be shared in an equitable manner and will also collect money for worthy causes in needy countries. There will be a special Share Lent collection on Solidarity Sunday, March 9.

That the Institutes of Consecrated Life, so flourishing in mission countries, may rediscover the missionary dimension and faithful to the radical choice of Gospel counsels, be generously in bearing witness to Christ and proclaiming Him to the ends of the earth.
