Stations of the Cross - The Stations of the Cross will be held on Friday evenings at 7:00 pm during Lent.

REMEMBERANCE TRIBUTE - We would like to invite new parishioners to the parish who are veterans or current members of the Canadian Armed Forces or Royal Canadian Mounted Police to leave their names with the parish office. It is our hope that you will participate in our Parish Remembrance Tribute which will take place at the 5pm Mass on Saturday November 8th.  To our current parishioners who have participated in the past, we look forward to having you participate again this year. Scouts, Guides and Cadets are also invited to join us by wearing your uniforms at all Masses that week-end.

GOOD SHEPHERD CWL ANNUAL CRAFT, BAKE & GIFT FAIR – The annual craft sale will be held on Saturday, November 1st, 2008, 8:30am – 2:00pm.

GOOD SHEPHERD KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS ANNUAL CHARITY AUCTION – The Knights of Columbus Council 9005 will be holding its annual charity auction in support of the Christmas food hamper program for the less fortunate families, on Friday, November 14 at 7:00 pm. Come out and participate in an evening of fun, find a treasure and support your community. All are welcome.

2009 SUNDAY MISSALS – The 2009 Sunday Missals will be sold in the gathering space after all 3 Masses the weekend of November 8 & 9. The cost of each missal is $7.00.

MUSIC - The Good Shepherd Parish music ministry needs an accompanist for the cantor, once a month on the second Saturday of the month at the 5pm Mass.  If you are able and willing to share your talents, please contact Charlotte Gupta
 
KIDS 4 JESUS (K4J) Children’s Club begins an exciting new season on Oct. 24th.  Boys & girls ages 6-10 are invited to Know Jesus, Love Jesus and Share Jesus through discussions, games, crafts and more.  We meet one Friday evening/month from 6:30-8:00 p.m.  Cost $12/season.  Register before Oct. 17th by calling Patty MacCarthy. Meeting dates are: Nov 21, Dec 12, Jan 9, Feb 13, Mar 13, Apr 24, May 8, Jun 5.

40 DAYS OF LIFE : THE GOOD SHEPHERD PARISH - Christians throughout Ottawa are invited to take part in the national 40 Days for Life effort from September 24 through November 2.
