SHROVE TUESDAY MASS (February 24th) will be celebrated at 9:00 AM and ASH WEDNESDAY MASS (February 25th) will be celebrated at 7:00 PM only.
SHROVE TUESDAY PANCAKE SUPPER – The Knights of Columbus will be holding their annual Parish Pancake and Sausage Supper on Shrove Tuesday, February 24th from 5-7 PM in the Social Space. Tickets are $5.00 per person or $15.00 per family. Tickets can be purchased after all Masses this weekend and next weekend.

Join us for an exploration of the social, political, and religious world of St. Paul, and a reflection on how these cultural factors influenced his faith journey and message. No charge. ALTAR SERVERS MEETING:  Father Boyd would like to have a meeting with the altar servers on Sat. Feb.28th at the church beginning at 10:30a.m.  The meeting will be followed by a pizza lunch.

 

Good Shepherd Community of Retirees
Wednesday, March 4th the Community of Retirees will gather 9:00-11:30
Agenda.1. 9:00 a.m. Parish Mass
2. Refreshments and socializing in Good Shepherd Hall.
3. Social time part two. A chance to get to know everyone
4. Main Topic of morning: Improving your life skills in retirement.
5. A short discussion on the future of this community.
Cost $2 for refreshments. All retirees of all ages and those who are preparing for the same are welcome. Treat yourself. Come and bring a friend or three.

 

A LENTEN FAMILY PRAYER CARD will be available The First Sunday in Lent.  When placed on the kitchen table this card is visible reminder for us as we journey through Lent. This card includes a Mealtime Prayer, a Lenten/Easter prayer and of some ideas of Lenten symbols which can be used to enhance our Lenten experience. 
This Lenten Family Prayer Card is provided by the Good Shepherd Catholic Women’s League.  Members of the CWL will hand out the Prayer Cards after each mass.

CHALLENGE WINTER CAMP, 2009.  A Weekend to Remember!

Sunday, June 14th.  Mark that date on your calendar! Your fundraising committee will host the 3rd Annual Good Shepherd Parish Golf Tournament that afternoon.  Best ball, shotgun start at 2PM.  Buffet dinner catered by chef Franz Gierer and his staff to follow in the social space.
